to Linda Johnson the First Lady of Poker for being selected for induction into the 2011 Poker Hall of Fame.
Linda will be only the second woman to receive the honor. The first was Barbara Enright who was selected in 2007.
We are so happy for Linda and can’t think of a better representative of the poker world or a person more deserving. We had the honor of spending some time with her this past year and she is not only an expert on poker she is truly a generous and kind woman who has a heart of gold.
WOMEN'S POKER RETREAT
with 18 wonderful poker women. Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher, aka PokerFish, gave valuable poker strategy along with intimate stories about poker and their lives; generously giving a part of themselves to us. A more gracious duo you will not find in or out of the poker room. They made themselves completely accessible to a group of 16 women who will not forget this weekend.
Both Linda and Jan are inductees into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame and Linda is also a member of the Poker Hall of Fame. Jan and Linda travel all over the country giving poker seminars, playing poker, instructing for WPT Boot Camps, and hosting Card Player Cruises.
We will never forget the experience of meeting and spending time with each and every one of you. Thanks to Barb, Jan, Linda, Bonnie, TJ, Pam M, Pam, Kim, Sharon, Nena, Sabrina, Catherine, LaDawn, Kara, Sonja, and Saritza.
