any14poker.com is all about poker. We play poker. We read poker. We talk poker. We watch poker. Is it our life? No, that would just be sad…but we do have a passion for poker. We do our best to bring something to the poker world–not just try to win big pots–though, of course, the big pots are great! We all like that part. But in between the big pots, there are a lot of losses, a lot of bad beats, a lot of stories that sometimes leave you wondering, “Did I screw that up?!”
Sometimes the best answer to that question is “maybe”…it is hard to say. One of the things we learned very quickly is that it is almost always the wrong decision when you end up losing the hand. In fact, you smack yourself on the forehead and yell, “What was I thinking?! I am such a donkey!!” Last week you might have played the same hand the same way, and when you won you couldn’t help but feel like you might just be the next Phil Ivey, or Jen Harmon, or Phil Helmuth. LOL
